This elegant Victorian house, built in Lakeland stone around 1875, offers views to the rear over Wynlass Beck, along with comfortable en suite rooms, a residents' lounge and private parking.

Firgarth Guest House is conveniently situated just 12 minutes' walk from the centre of Windermere, which offers a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. The guest house has a great location, between the busy villages of Windermere and Bowness. It is a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced bed and breakfast, situated in the number one location within the English Lake District National Park: Windermere.

The guest lounge is comfortable, with plenty of books and information on local walks, as well as a selection of games to keep you amused in the evenings.

The traditional breakfast menu is all freshly prepared. There is a choice of orange juice, grapefruit, fresh fruit salad, cereals, yoghurt and a variety of cooked-to-order breakfasts.

The guest house is regretfully unable to accept any arrivals after 20:00.

Double rooms are situated on the first and second floors.

Our spacious front facing four-poster room offers a Queen Anne bed and traditional furniture. It also features an en suite shower room. Other than the facilities listed below, the room has a DVD player. This room offers a large bay window where you can relax in the comfortable easy chairs.

We offer an en suite single room on the first floor at the rear of the guest house. The room consists of a double bed and an en suite shower room. (Maximum occupancy: one person).

This recently refurbished room is situated at the front of the house on the second floor and is equipped with a king-size bed.
