A selection of unique, themed suites of the highest quality. The lodge has an outdoor, heated swimming pool. This location is ideal for visiting the many famous attractions of the Lake District. We are ideally situated. Just a short walk down Longtail Hill you will find the lake and the marina where there are lovely views and a bistro bar. There are also several excellent restaurants within five minutes walk from the Lodge.

A few minutes more will take you to Bowness Bay where you can take a cruise or hire a selection of small boats. In Bowness village there are many restaurants, shops, public houses, a cinema, a theatre and other attractions. An all weather leisure environment, Parklands Country Club has something for everyone. The club incorporates a swimming pool with children'sarea, spa bath, sauna, steam room and jet showers. There is a badminton court, squash court and trimnasium. On the first floor is a comprehensive club lounge and bar, 2 full size snooker tables, solarium and viewing galeries overlooking the badminton and squash courts and the swimming pool.

Directions
Key must be collected from our main hotel which is 21 The Lakes on Lake Road in Windermere.From north or south leave the M6 at junction 36 and follow the A591 towards Windermere. Take a left oposite the Windermere hotel signposted for the town centre. Follow the one way system through the town heading down the hill towards Bowness for approx 1/2 a mile. 21 The Lakes is situated on the left hand side about 20 yards before a zebra crossing.Check-in at our reception and we will give keys to your suite together with a directional map of how to get to Aphrodites Lodge.
